I am blown away by these handmade clay designs by Meredith Dittmar. She is an artist from Massachusetts, now living in Portland. Her work is unified by the themes of biology, technology and consciousness, and portrays these themes with human-animal-plant-energy amalgams. The result: colorful, detail-oriented and thought-provoking three dimensional art.

best coast

I can't wait for Best Coast's album "Crazy for You" which comes out July 27th!

However, the album art was just released about 3 hours ago, and I'm really digging it. This artwork is very fitting for Best Coast's sound... and I'm happy that it's not some washed out/blurry picture of a party where you can't see anyone's face.

My favorite song so far (that I've heard): Our Deal. Go check it out!



Also, I'm in love with her cat, Snacks.
