moley moley moley

Photobooth doesn't take great pictures but I was too excited to take a picture with a real camera, then upload it, etc. If you know me at all, then you know how amazingly fast I am with uploading pictures...

Anyway this is my finished moleskin cover. It's a collage made with a doily, lots of little magazine cutouts, a pressed flower, a page from some book and wrapping paper. After I was done collaging the hell out of it, I stamped some words over it. I think the words really help it to look unified because sometimes I can go overboard with collage. On the inside there's a library checkout envelope which I think looks pretty cool. (No picture yet)

Lets just say... I love Mod Podge.

I am debating about laminating it so nothing falls apart or gets ripped but I like the texture the Mod Podge gives... we will have to see how well it holds up.

Postcards

I am working on a couple sets of postcards that will soon be on my Etsy account. I'm thinking there will be about 3 or 4 sets with 3 or 4 different cards in each set, but right now I have only a travel set and one of a love/friendship set.

The postcards are about 4x6 hand drawn with zig pens and then watercolor painted on top. I will have to mat them to something so they are sturdier. On the back will be regular postcard things (probably hand written.)

I am also thinking that since postcards, and mail in general, are becoming outdated, that I would sell the postcards already stamped... It would kind of be annoying on my part to buy a whole bunch of stamps, but I think people would be more likely to write it and put it in the mail if there was already a stamp on it. Comment on what you think, it would help a lot :)

A couple of pictures of the cards.

It was unintentional at first that I did a travel theme... maybe I subconsciously want to go somewhere. Actually, yes, I do...

So, please tell me if you would buy these on Etsy (or at a craft fair)... they would come in packs of 3 or 4 but they would all be different and all handmade :)
