charles clary

Hand cut paper and ink collages by Charles Clary. I'm just loving these designs... lots of depth and movement!

owen gildersleeve

This is a remarkable paper-cut poster design for "The Guardian" by Owen Gildersleeve.

Besides this piece having a lot of meaning to me right now, I think the 3D elements make it really unique.

su blackwell

I'm on a roll this week finding amazing artists to highlight! Today is Su Blackwell, a Book Cut artist from London. These book cuts are absolutely gorgeous 3-D illustrations of books (made from the actual book? I'm not sure) They make me miss my Artist Books class, and one even reminds me of my Birds of a Feather pop-up book; but these are way better. Take a look and try to guess which books these are from!
